PoE News: There Are Four New Expansions Will Be Added To Path of Exile This Year

The good news about Path of Exile is the looming sequel will not slow the original game's updates in the year 2020.

Here comes the latest news I got that Path of Exile will continue to grow in 2020 despite last year's announcement of a sequel, according to the studio Grinding Gear Games has confirmed. And that means more and more players need to collect Path of Exile Currency if they want to keep survive in this game and having a decent life there. Even though the information is quite thin at the moment, a new blog post, however, assures that the free-to-play Action Role-Playing Game will get four new expansions this year on its usual quarterly.

The very first expansion, 3.10.0, now has been successfully released with reports early last year suggesting it will likely launch in March, well, this prediction now has been confirmed. And for the 3.11.0. 3.12.0 and 3.13.0 will then follow later in this year. The update reads "The timing of the expansions might vary by a week or two from last year's ones...as we work around various holidays/events and then make sure that the bigger ones have enough time to be fully tested"

As for Path of Exile 2, previously known as the 4.0.0 update, expect more information about that in the middle of the year. "Development on 4.0.0 continues, with the team hard at work on the content that was not shown in the ExileCon Act One Demo. What we expect that the next time we will show significantly new content and features will probably be at the end of this year. Maybe after the Coronavirus officially over. We will let you know once we have a firm plan locked in."

According to the statement of the Grinding Gear Games, these four new expansions might get a little messy because of the COVID - 19, but the studio strives to release them this year and officially launch the BETA version of Path of Exile.
